heres your second privileged serving of the cramps here. there very fine cover of the 'ronnie cook and the gaylads' hit, 'goo goo muck'. this is of course made famous on the 'born bad' string of compilation lps and im pretty sure this is on volume 1. classic straight forward cover, for a change, by the lords and ladies of dirty drug rock n roll. the cramps ment, and still do, a great power to me. theyre genius i say. truely are. they took one form of music, muddled it and fucked with it for a few days and came up with a whole new style of shit to be proud of. ill leave it at that as this isnt the first column space dedicated to them, so im sure its all been said a million times by better literary conveyers than i. some of them early tunes though. my lord. that good i wish i had written them myself. instead of doing this pish for example. its late, my hands are still manky fae work and its now 03.05. so bed ways is best ways i think. enjoy like youve never enjoyed before. oh yeah, before i forget, get it round ye..!!
